Leongson out to bag title in WGA moto

-
It’s going to be showtime for the country’s best riders as the championship leg of the Superferry National Motocross Super Series 2002 blasts off on Nov. 22-23 at the PAMRI Racetracks, Army Adventure Zone in Taguig, Metro Manila.

Multi-titled Ernie Leongson of Shell-Yamaha is all set to bag the title in the premier pro open category with a sizable lead over his closest pursuers.

But Glenn Aguilar, top rider of the Caltex-Revtex-KTM team, vows to end an up-and-down season in a blaze of glory in this event organized by the Hartebeest Entertainment Corp. and the Kabataang Iwas Droga sa tulong ng Sports (KIDS) Foundation, headed by its chairman Richard Gomez.

"This is it. It’s the final leg of the Superferry motocross series and everybody is looking forward to a great showing, considering that many enthusiasts will remember the last performance the most," said Gomez, himself an avid motocross practitioner.
