Philippine Racing Club, Inc. (PRCI) rolls down the red carpet for the countrys top racing fillies and mares as they dispute top divisional honors in the Philracom-sponsored "Sampaguita Distaff Championship," main event in todays stellar card at the Santa Ana Park.
Led by this years Triple Crown headliners Golden Ballet, Halo Effect and Magical Mark, the P1-million championship race is a virtual showcase of the countrys top campaigners in the three-year-old and up filly division over a distance of 1,800 meters.
Multiple stakes winner Golden Ballet, coming off back-to-back defeats in her most recent start, will attempt to recover her winning form as she sets out as early favorite in the featured track encounter. Having already won three major stakes events this year, the three-year-old bay filly will be partnered anew by currently suspended jockey Jonathan Hernandez, the fillys officially declared rider who received a stakes race dispensation.
