Sports marketing seminar today

San Miguel Corp. is sponsoring a series of lectures entitled "Sports Marketing: It’s a Brand New Game, Educating the Next Generation of Sports Marketers and Leaders" by American sports marketing specialist Rick Burton starting today, 3-6 p.m., at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium of the RCBC Plaza.

Tomorrow, Burton will lecture at the Holiday Inn from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

The lectures today are open – free of charge – to business marketing students, while the lectures tomorrow, sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission, are exclusive to select members of the PSC, Philippine Olympic Committee and national sports associations.

Currently executive director of the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University of Oregon, Burton is an award-winning teacher, public speaker, print columnist, radio commentator and TV show host. He has served as consultant for sports leagues and sports organizations.
