UP, Army booters score

University of the Philippines and Army B hurdled their respective rivals last weekend to post their second straight victories in the second Army-Utilco International Invitational Football Cup tournament at the Ascom field in Fort Bonifacio, Makati City.
After Oscar Mejia staked UP to a 1-0 halftime lead, the Maroons exploded for two more goals to beat University of Santo Tomas, 3-1.
Randy Salisad sparkled with four goals as the Army B booters blasted Korea Football Association, 6-0.
Salisad struck in the eighth, 37th, 65th and 71st minutes.
Four other matches in the tourney organized by Army, sponsored by Utilco and sanctioned by the Philippine Football Federation all ended in draws.
