Agojo, who has a string of jungolf victories on local and international fronts, easily won the girls 14-15 class by nine shots to add to her earlier victory in Temecula Valley junior championship in San Diego. She had a three-day total of 218 on rounds of 71-74-73 to beat American Amber Davies of East Point, Georgia who had 77-74-76-227.
Ocampo, son of the famous heart specialist Dr. Carlo Ocampo of Makati Medical Center, won in the boys 14-15 division, beating Juan Pablo Candela of Colombia.
Agojo and Ocampo were members of the Philippine Junior Golf Foundation contingent which saw action in the event.
Gerileen Handog also posted good scores and landed fourth in girls 12-13. The event was won by Mason Evliay of the US.
As was in Temecula, California, the General Golf Course of the PGA National proved to be Jayvie’s turf as she also won in last year’s competition in Optimist. The championship was attended by hundred participants from 22 countries.
