Unbeaten Doves trip Taiwanese

League-leading St. Francis of Assisi kept its unbeaten record intact by scoring an 84-63 conquest of National University of Taipei yesterday in the third Asian University basketball tournament at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

The Doves took a 51-31 halftime lead and never looked back with Al Vergara topscoring with 22 points to hand the Taiwanese their second straight loss.

Yon Sei University blasted San Sebastian , 82-68, for its second straight win in the event organized by BAP and sponsored by Spring Cooking Oil, Burlington Socks, Absolute Distilled Water and Healthy Options.
