The TBAM-Prima stalwart scored a four-game series of 945 pinfalls, eclipsing the previous best of 941 by RP team member Chester King, leader in the division since Day 1 of the tournament sponsored by Boysen, Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Prudential Guarantee, Bowlmart, Prima Pasta, Regent Foods, ILO Construction, Kegel Asia and Manila Galleria Suites.
King fell to second place while a far third was fellow PBAP teammate Jeremy Posadas with 924 pinfalls.
The trio of SLETBAs Irene Benitez and PBAPs Liza del Rosario and Ces Yap, however, remained at Nos. 1-3 in the distaff side of the same class.
Action in both the singles event class A also gets interesting as Sixto Sengson and Apple Posadas grabbed the lead in the men and womens class.
Posadas (SLETBA) topped Aleson Gos 791 pinfalls by rolling 802, with previous leader Danne Pomasin settling at third best with 790.
Out of the top three in the early goings, Sengson shot up to No. 1 with 890 pinfalls, barely edging out yesterdays leader Nichol Yap (888) and Ronald Arkoncel (875).
In contrast, leaders in the all events kept their respective positions, with Benitez, Yap and Liza Clutario leading the way in the womens class O and national team mentor Purvis Granger, Arnold Lecaros and Benny Dytoc up in the mens division.
