Forest Hills chairman, lawyer Ferdinand Santos, leads the traditional hitting of the ceremonial ball together with Rizal Gov. Nini Ynares, Representatives Jack Duavit and Vic Sumulong, Antipolo City Mayor Angelito Gatlabayan, Fil-Estate Corp. chairman Robert Sobrepeña, Golforce Inc. president Roberto Escaño, and TaylorMade-Adidas sales and marketing manager Ernest Paguia.

The tournament is a four-day affair with each team playing for two days using the Stableford Scoring System. All the teams will play best ball on the first day and then will use the aggregate on the second day of play.
Handicapping of the participants will be based on the following guidelines: Forest Hills members shall use their April 2002 Handicap Index while their guests must use their lowest April 2002 Handicap Index in any club which they are members of.
A Luau-style party has been set for the participants on the last day. Entertainers Subas Herrero and Noel Trinidad are the emcees of the awarding ceremony while the Moonstrucks Band, noted for the rendition of sounds from the 60s and 70s, is the guest performer.
