SEAG champs lead cast in TBAM bowl

A big cast of bowlers featuring Southeast Asian Games gold medallists Chester King and Liza del Rosario vie for honors in the 4th TBAM Easter Classic which gets underway at the Coronado Lanes in Makati today.
The five-day meet organized by the Tenpin Bowlers Association of Makati (TBAM) and sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Congress (PBC) serves as the first leg in a series of eliminations to determine the members of the RP bowling team to the Asian Games in Busan, South Korea this September.
King and Del Rosario, along with fellow nationals Leonardo Rey, RJ Rivera, Ces Yap, Trixie de Luna, among others, are just part of some 144 players seeing action in the tournament made possible by Prima Pasta, Astor Philippines, Equitable PCI Bank, Conveyance Inc., Edward Keller Phils. Inc, La Filipina Uygongcu Corp., Manila Overseas Comml Inc., Oriental Assurance Corp. Prudential Guarantee and Assurance Inc. and Tone Guide Press Inc.
Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chair Eric Buhain has been invited as the special guest in the short opening rites, together with PBC president Steve Hontiveros, TBAM president Wolo Lim and his assistant Larry Fernandez.
