PBA yearender on Channel 13

Viva Vintage Sports looks back at the champions and heroes of the 2001 PBA season in tonight’s "PBA Year in Review" show from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on IBC-13.

From the historic first championship of Red Bull Thunder and Sta. Lucia Realty to the continued dominance of powerhouse San Miguel Beer and crowd-pleasing exploits of Barangay Ginebra, the year-end show will feature the greatest and most memorable of the season just concluded.

It will showcase the most scintillating performances of the league’s superstars like MVP Danny Ildefonso, Danny Seigle, Kenneth Duremdes and Dennis Espino as well as the emergence of new, exciting young talents in the PBA like Mark Caguioa, Gerard Francisco and Junthy Valenzuela.

One of the most action-packed segments of the show will be a re-cap of the most exciting highlights of the year, including Chris Tan’s championship-winning three-point shot in the Governors Cup.
