Garcia, Duavit, Co lead TGA tilt winners

A steady-hitting club champion, a young congressman, and a ladies circuit standout made it to the winners roster of The Golf Authority Junior Golfers Clubs launching tournament recently at the Wack Wack west course.
Raffy Garcia, the spearhead of Federation League titlist Forest Hills where he reigns as club champion, bagged top honors with his gross of 72 and a System 36 net of 68 on the strength of his four birdies.
Rep. Jack Duavit topped Class B with a net 71 while Rio Co, a big factor in Sta. Elenas hold of power in the ladies scene, clinched the ladies division with her 70.
Also shining in the 18-hole event which had Bingo Bonanza as the presentor and Herma Group, SGV, Splash Manufacturing, Mandaue Realty, Lee Designs, Samitrade and Alcatel Phils. as major sponsors were Manny Cabili, the windsurfing standout who edged Alvee Benitez and Claro Ben Lim for the Class A plum and Miko Alejandro whose 70 put him three strokes clear of Katrina Gonzales in the junior division.
