Golden Ballet lived up to expectations yesterday, ruling the Philracom Juvenile Championship to stretch her winning streak to six races at the Sta. Ana Park.
Golden Ballet, with JB Hernandez on top, dictated the early tempo of the race and was never in trouble in posting a one-length victory worth P600,000 for owner Jun Almeda.
Golden Ballet, winner of the recent Marho Stakes Race also at Sta. Ana, covered the 1,600-m race in 1:43 with quartertimes of 24-25-25 1/2-29.
Finishing second in the 10-horse field was Art of Rose followed by Mighty Strong and Magical Mark. Second place was worth P225,000, third P125,000 and fourth P50,000. Ramon Romualdez
