DLSU and UP each won four titles while host St. La Salle took three.
Unigames newcomer San Sebastian College copped two titles womens volleyball and beach volleyball while UNO-Recoletos, St. Francis of Assisi, De La Salle Dasmariñas, Far Eastern University, Ateneo de Manila, Foundation U and Silliman University had one title apiece.
UP won the titles in the men and womens swimming, mens table tennis and mens taekwondo while De La Salle took home the mens volleyball crown for the first time as well as men and womens chess and womens soccer.
St. La Salle captured the sepak takraw title and won also in womens lawn tennis and taekwondo.
UNO-R grabbed the plum in womens table tennis, DLSU-Dasmariñas in mens athletics, Far Eastern U in womens athletics, Ateneo in mens lawn tennis. St. Francis in mens basketball and Foundation in mens beach volleyball.
Record Breakers
Twenty-two records -13 in swimming and nine in athletics were broken in the week-long competition.
UPs Ma. Veronica Christina Manotok led the record breakers by erasing four marks in womens swimming while her teammates Timmy Chua and Bernard Datoc.
The new athletics record holders are Chantal Balani of DLSU (100-m and 200-m), Mercedita manipol of UE (1,500-m and 5,000-m), Ralph Soguilon of DLSU (200-m), Maristella Torres (long jump) and Roselyn Jamero (womens discuss throw), both of FEU. Arniel Ferrera (mens discus) and the DLSU 4x400-m relay squad.
