Less than a month after launching its bids in rousing fashion in the Visayas stop hosted by Alta Vista Golf and Country Club in Cebu, the powerhouse Orchard delegation is expected to make a big move at its home club.
At the head of the vaunted Orchard charge is the D team made up of low-handicapper Dan Salvador III, Mariano Castaneda, Aaron Topacio and Rudel Panganiban who pulled off a squeaker in Group 1.
Club chair Conrad Benitez and president Dr. Carlo Magno will be on hand to give their contingent the needed morale-booster as the series, staged by real estate giant Sta. Lucia Realty for clubs carrying its banner, enters its halfway mark.
The oversized Eagle Ridge contingent is also eyeing a big comeback as well as the other four clubs in the field, Alta Vista, Royale Tagaytay and the Rancho Palos Verdes of Davao.
Co-sponsors of the event are Golforce, Inc., Gainers Marketing, Atlanta Industries, Kubota Agro-Ind. Machinery Phils., Unirock, Readycon, Club Car, Omega, Yamaha/Kart Plaza, Philippine Airlines, Kodal Digital Camera, Semicon, Isuzu Fuego-Cebu and Neltex and Anako for this year’s tour.
