Car at stake in August Fore

A brand new Mitsubishi car and many other merchandise items are up for grabs in the 2001 edition of the August Fore! Invitational golf tournament, organizers announced yesterday.

The tourney, which has drawn the support of Portals as major sponsor and San Miguel Corporation and Nestle Phils. as minor sponsors, will be held on Aug. 29 at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.

August Fore! is an annual project of the Rotary Club of Diliman District 3780 and is held as a tribute to PDG Melito "Bimbo" Salazar Jr.

Funds raised from the tourney will be for the benefit of the Rotarympics and other RC Diliman projects as well as the Tib-Ong Scholarship projects.

The Mitsubishi car donated by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines, Inc. will be at stake as a hole-in-one prize on a designated hole. There will be team (three-to-play, two-to-count) and individual competitions.
