Gov. Cup leg up at Sta. Elena

The ninth leg of the District 3810 Governor’s Cup golf tournament will be held at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club in Cabuyao, Laguna tomorrow.

Tee-off time is from 7 to 9 a.m. Hosted by Rotary Club of Dasmariñas, Cavite and Rotary Club of Pasay Metro, the tournament has attracted celebrities like Hajji Alejandro, Bert Nievera, Gary Lising, Subas Herrero, Dingdong Avanzado, Emy Arcilla and Al Quin. Others expected to see action are Rotarians from other districts.

The modified blind Callaway system will be used in the event supported by Birch Tree, Ford Makati, SVM Mitsukoshi, Boysen Paint, Prima Enterprises, Taylor Made-Adidas, SmithKline Beecham and United Coconut Planters Bank.

Hole-in-one prizes at stake on all par-3 holes include a trip to Hong Kong and Thailand plus accommodation, Verde Island accommodation and Mitsukoshi motor bike. Fabulous prizes will also be raffled-off during the award rites.
