Athletes seminar slated

In preparation for the forthcoming Kuala Lumpur Southeast Asian Games and other international events this year, the Philippine Sports Commission will be holding its first-ever Athletes Value Formation seminar starting at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Invited as resource speakers are Olympic Solidarity course director Gerardo Jimenez "The Olympic Movement," POC and PTA chairman Robert Aventajado "Role of the National Sports Associations," swimming coach Ral Rosario "Role of the Coach,"and swimming coach and former national standout Eric Buhain who will talk on the role of a national atlete.
Also invited are Gintong Alays Michael Keon, who will discuss the "Sports Code of Ethics," Philippine Center for Sports Medicine Director Dr. Raul Canlas "Hygiene/Procedures in the PCSM," and PSC commissioner Ricardo Garcia "Role of the PSC." Garcia will be assisted by project directors Ariel Paredes and Ramon Suzara.
Expected to attend the seminar are a total of 618 athletes 531 national, 176 training, and 86 developmental.
