Dorothy Delasin yesterday expressed her gratitude to Cinnabon Rolls and Shell official for "having graciously" extended plane tickets and hotel accommodation in her trip to Manila.
Delasin will also be provided with a Toyota Prado as her private vehicle during her stay in Manila.
"I cannot thank Cinnabon Rolls and Shell enough for their generosity in having facilitated my trip to the land of my roots," said Delasin, who came home with her father and mother, Sonny and Salfe, and other family members. "I will always have fond memories of them."
Arben Santos of Cinnabon Rolls and Oscar Reyes of Shell played golf with Delasin yesterday at Riviera in the company of NGAP president Rod Feliciano and Riviera president Danny Pizarro.
Also in the tournament organized by the Madoggan Golf Club and supported by The Riviera thru GM John Blanch and Golf director Lewis Rissman were officials of Toyota, Unilever Philippines, Rembrant Hotel and Citgo, Solahart and Mizuno headed by Lovell Gopez.
"We are honored to see our own kind gracing our shores once again, specially now that she has scored big strides in the United States," said Santos of Cinnabon Rolls.
Reyes said, "Pilipinas Shell will always be proud to honor a full-blooded Filipina who has earned sporting laurels abroad for the Filipino people."
