Go rules drag racing

Raymond Go of Autoplus emerged Pro Class A champion when he ruled the Quick 8 category in the recent Pro Speed Quarter Mile 2000 at the Manila Harbour Center race track.
A total of 120 drivers saw action in the one-day drag racing event sponsored by Nodalos Headers and Shell Helix and supported by Shell Velocity and Automotive Engine Rebuilders among others.
Danny Yema of Gulf Speed came in second behind Go. Class B title went to Romeo Manuel who was followed by Michael dela Cruz.
Winning the Class C crown was John Chua of Fulson R followed by Ced Concepcion. Class D champion was Eric Gotamco with Carlo Manuel finishing second in his jeep.
Mike Lim of Mity Mike ruled the All-Motor class, Tony Sta. Cruz the All-Nissan class, Vincent Peña the All-Honda class and Luis Lim the All-Mitsubishi class.
