Cheng, Canuday top ABC bowling

Jun Cheng of Jardine Building Solutions and Jerry Canuday of Boysen Paints ruled their respective divisions in the ABC third quarterfinals held at the Green Valley Bowling Center in Pasig recently.

Cheng beat Buddy Segui of Emerald Vinyl Corp., and Manny Padit of Philflex to pocket the Group I plum, while Canuday captured the Group II title over Daisy Pineda of Puyat Vinyl Products and Thelma Cheng of Multi-Rich Home Decor, Inc.

Meanwhile, Tony Naval was elected president of the organization during the annual election.

In the monthly finals, Puyat Vinyl’s Art Figueras won the Group I crown by beating Noriel Belardo of JD Bernardo Eng’g. Const. Co. and Buddy Segui of Nation Paints, while May Sabater of DN Steel outclassed Joseph Ng of B-Ticino and Thelma Cheng of Daikin Aircon for the Group II diadem.

Art Figuerras of Nation Paints ruled the special tournament with 882 pinfalls, beating Henry Pascual of B-Ticino (821) and Manny Padit of Puyat Vinyl Products (801).

Action in the weekly tournament, sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints and supported by American Standard, Puyat Vinyl Products, Philflex Wires and Cables, Jardine Building Solutions, DN Steel, Multi-Rich Home Decors, Inc., Emerald Vinyl Corp., JD Bernardo Eng’g and Const. Inc., Daikin Aircondition, B-Ticino, APCO Alumetal, Mega System/Vesbo, and Specserve Waterproofing, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the All-Events One Group Scratch.
