Rexona All Stars seek fourth win

Buoyed by its 91-76 win over Philippine Christian University, the touring Rexona Sport All Stars go for a back-to-back victory over Las Piñas College Tuesday at the LPC gym.

Arvin Mendoza led the Rexona team to its fourth win in eight games with 20 points, supported by Dante Barredo’s 17, and Arvin de Game’s 12.

"That was a morale-boosting win for us, coming off from that loss to NCBA. I believe the boys have developed their self-confidence," said events organizer and Rexona team manager Albert Almendraleja.

Rexona faces Adamson Oct. 12, PMI Oct. 13, and La Salle.

Rexona will also formally award recognition to NCAA players Jenkins Mesina, San Beda, Jojo Manalo of Perpetual Help, Jayson Misolas of Letran, Nurjam Alfad, San Sebastian, and Sunday Salvacion of St. Benilde – all selected NCAA Rexona Hotshots.

Awarding will be held during game 1 of the SSC- St. Benilde title series tomorrow.
