Two title fights up in Peñalosa card

Two title fights - one for the World Boxing Council international lightflyweight title and the other for the Philippine superbantamweight crown - are the supporting cards of the Gerry Peñalosa-Pone Saengmorakot title showdown for the WBC international superflyweight championship May 27 at the Casino Filipino Amphitheater in Parañaque.

Juanito Rubillar battles Do Yun Ra, currently the Korean No. 5 contender, in a 12-round bout for the WBC international lightflyweight championship.

The other pits Dino Olivetti against Edward Escriber in an expected slambang showdown for the Philippine superbantamweight crown.

The twin bouts are the supporting attractions to Peñalosa's comeback fight before his legion of local fans as he goes up against the Thai slugger in the Fiesta Fistiana boxing promotions staged by the Philippine Sportswriters Association in cooperation with Casino Filipino and San Miguel Beer.

The card was assembled by noted boxing matchmaker Bebot Elorde.
