.c.Changes in the Negros coaching staff worked wonders for the Slashers, who finally snapped their three-game skid with a convincing 82-65 rout of the undermanned Pasig-Rizal Pirates in the MBA-FedEx Crossover Cup yesterday at the USLS gym in Bacolod City.

.c.With former assistant coach Robert Sison now calling the shots, the Slashers went to work early then coasted to their fourth win in 10 games, while dealing the Pirates their fourth setback against seven wins.
