Tuason leads karting cast

J.P. Tuason hopes to keep his winning ways as he banners the field competing in the third and fourth races of the Formula Toyota Cup this weekend at the Planet Speed 2000 in Batangas.

Tuason is serious in his bid to dethrone 1999 Driver of the Year awardee Pepon Marave, and the Standard Insurance-Toyota Alabang Team looks ready to give full support to its ace driver.

Marave of Shell Racing Team, however, vows to give his best to improve his runner-up finishes in the initial legs of the series. He hopes to get support, too, from teammates Joel Retuya and Carlos Anton.

Meanwhile, Roland Hermoso and Enzo Pastor are expected to continue their brewing rivalry in the Kosei-Toyota Corolla Cup. The two split the top honors in the first and second races.

Also in the field in the Kosei-Toyota Corolla Cup are Maurice Laude, Carlo Pastor, Oliver Yao, Alex Padua and Reggie Ramos.

Jolet Jao and Toti Alberto head the list of entries in the Shell Advance Super Bike Series.
