DENR names new assistant directors for Eastern Visayas

TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines – The Department of Environment and Natural Resources has assigned two new assistant directors for its regional office in Eastern Visayas.

DENR-8 executive director Leornardo Sibbaluca told reporters that, in line with the continuing organizational development, the DENR national office named the two new assistant regional directors, under officer-in-charge status.

DENR Undersecretary for Field Operations Demetrio Ignacio Jr. signed the special orders designating chief administrative officer Arturo Salazar as ARD for Management Services of DENR-8.

Ignacio also named provincial environment and natural resources officer Carlito Tuballa as DENR-8's ARD for Technical Services.

Sibbaluca added that DENR-8's regional technical director Herminigildo Jocson of DENR-8 Ecosystems Research and Development Service was designated overall coordinator of the National Greening Program in Eastern Visayas.
