In 'Saulog' photo tilt TF reporter wins top prize

TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines — The FREEMAN news correspondent Ric V. Obedencio bagged the first prize under the contingent category in the recently concluded "Saulog" street dance photo contest during annual fiesta celebration of this city in honor of St. Joseph.

He also garnered the fourth prize in the street category in the same competition that was sponsored by the city government.

Obedencio received cash prize and trophy from City Mayor John Geesnell "Baba" Yap II during the simple ceremony at Island City Mall on Monday after cutting the ribbon for the display/exhibits of the photos that won the photo race.

Under the contingent category, photographers Ivan Lungay Jaluag won 2nd and 7th places; Melecio Torralba, Jr., 3rd; Vhince Ligones Chiu, 4th and 9th; Michael Cuizon, 5th and 10th;  and Lemuel Nino Mangeron, 8th.

Photographers Ivan Lungay Janluag bagged the 1st and 3rd places under the street category; Anthony Vincent Manding, 2nd; Ric Obedencio, 4th; Gerald James Cabal, 5th; Lynn Clifford Responte, 6th, 7th, and 8th; Albert Tumanda, 9th; and Edrian Semana, 10th.  /JMD (FREEMAN)
