LTO-7 conducts deputation seminar for traffic enforcers

DUMAGUETE CITY, Philippines — A total of 135 participants from various law enforcement units in Negros Oriental completed a one-day deputation seminar Thursday, conducted by the Land Transportation Office-Region 7.

The seminar, the first and maybe  the only one for this year, covers topics on deputation of traffic enforcers to assist the LTO in implementing traffic laws, rules and regulations.

Discussed were Republic Act 4136 (Land Transportation and Traffic Code of the Philippines) and specific concerns and issues in the enforcement of  traffic laws, arrests and issuance of temporary operators permit (TOP), violations and franchises, among others. (FREEMAN)
