Agaton causes worries to Leyteños

CEBU, Philippines - Non-stop rains, intermittent gusts of winds and a very cold weather over the past couple of days, due to tropical depression Agaton, have cause apprehensions to Yolanda survivors in Tacloban City and other towns in Leyte province.

There have been no reports yet of flooding but the city government has been put on alert with its disaster management and rescue teams ready for any eventuality.

Communications lines have been stable so far, while electricity supply fell on brief outage from time to time.

The unusually cold weather have caused colds and other related ailments to many residents, but health authorities have been quick in attending to these patients. (FREEMAN)
