Soldier caught by soldier-wife in motel with another woman

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — A corporal of the Philippine Army’s 303rd Infantry Brigade in Negros Occidental and his alleged paramour, who is an employee of the Negros Occidental provincial government, were caught by his wife, an Army sergeant, in a lodging house in this city Friday, Bombo Radyo-Bacolod reported.

The wife filed charges against her husband before the Bacolod City Police Office’s Women and Children’s Complaints Desk, the radio report added.

The wife said she had her husband under surveillance since April this year, but it was only last Friday that someone told her that he and his alleged paramour just entered the lodging house at 11 a.m., Bombo reported.

Immediately after, the wife sought the help of the police to arrest her husband and his companion. The scene outside the motel’s room was like a movie scene, drawing kibitzers who watched the unfolding of events for five hours.

The parents of the alleged paramour also went to the lodging house and called up their daughter to come out.

By 5:15 p.m., after protracted negotiations with the woman’s parents, the wife of the soldier and the police, the two finally got out of the room and yielded. - THE FREEMAN
