ILOILO CITY, Philippines  — The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), the national government’s flagship poverty program, has now reached all the 42 towns and one component city of Iloilo province.

Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office chief Neneth Pador said her office was informed about this development just recently. “With this, there are now more than 74,000 beneficiaries in the province,” she said.

Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor, Sr. welcomed the development as he assured continued support to all the programs of the DSWD.

Earlier, DSWD-Region 6 recognized the Iloilo provincial government for its exemplary performance in the implementation of the Kalahi-CIDSS program in the province.  (FREEMAN)
