Mambukal Resort's pool, villas inaugurated today

Bacolod City, Philippines —The inauguration for the Japanese Ofuro dipping pool worth P6 million, and the seven new villas worth P27.3 million at Mambukal Resort in Murcia, Negros Occidental will be held today (Saturday), Provincial Administrator Enrique Pinongan said yesterday.

Japanese Kouchi Yamaguchi, who designed the pool situated next to the existing dipping pool, will attend the inauguration, he said. The villas have four rooms each, which is in addition to the cottages of the resort in order to accommodate more tourists especially during peak seasons, Governor Alfredo Maranon Jr. earlier said.

Mambukal Resort is the top earner of the Economic Enterprise Development Department, the governor had said.

During the last Holy Week, Mambukal Resort had earned P1 million in revenues from at least 10,000 tourists.
