Dumaguete City LGU turns over schoolbuilding

DUMAGUETE CITY, Philippines — The city government on Tuesday morning turned over a two-storey schoolbuilding to the Calindagan Elementary School in barangay Calindagan of this city.

Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria said the building was donated through the PDAF of Senator Serge Osmeña III amounting to P5 million.  

Sagarbarria lauded the senator for his support for Dumaguete, and to City Schools Division OIC-superintendent Ramir Uytico for his ideas in improving and enhancing the quality of education in this city.

The turnover was witnessed by Vice Governor Jun Arnaiz, barangay officials, businessmen, teachers, parents, and students, while Msgr. Julius Heruela administered the blessing of the donated buidling.
