Boy, 6, beheaded

BACOLOD CITY ,Philippines  — A 6-year-old boy was found dead in a sugarcane farm in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental Sunday, according to an ABS-CBN-Bacolod report yesterday.

The victim, MJ Aguirre, was beheaded and his left eye was gouged in a stockroom of the sugarcane plantation at Hacienda Pula Brgy. San Pedro, it added.

The suspect was identified as Lyndon Monton, 31, the victim’s neighbor, who reportedly had just finished his drug rehabilitation program. Monton, however, denied the crime.

But MJ’s grandparents, Severe and Virginia Aguirre, said they will file charges against Monton, as they last saw MJ with him.
