P679M Bohol projects in 2012 nat'l budget

TAGBILARAN CITY ,Philippines  — Various infrastructure projects in Bohol, worth P678.792 million, were included in the list of public works for funding under the proposed 2012 General Appropriations Act.

Representative Erico Aumentado (2nd district, Bohol) said these were endorsed by the Regional Development Council-Region 7 and consolidated in the list of projects submitted by the Bohol 2nd District Engineering Office to the DPWH regional office in Cebu City and to Congress.

In the DPWH-7 list, the urgent projects are: 1) Reconstruction of bridges in Talibon town (P14 million), in Ubay (P12 million); in Trinidad (P8.5 million); and in Talibon (P8 million);

2) upgrading of bridges between Danao and Getafe towns (P9.31 million); in Dagohoy (P1 million); between Sagbayan and Danao (P1 million); in Getafe (P1 million each); and in Buenavista (P1 million);

3) reblocking with asphalt overlay of road sections in Dagohoy town (P49.89 million); between San Miguel and Dagohoy (P22.33 million); in Clarin town (P19.26 million); and in San Miguel (P10.62 million);

4) asphalt overlay of road section between Carmen and Sagbayan towns (P35.892 million); and in Trinidad town (27.36 million).

5) rehabilitation and upgrading of roads in San Isidro town (P131.214 million); in Dagohoy (P66.125 million); in Getafe (P60.398 million); in Sagbayan and Danao (P48.67 million); in Buenavista (P46 million); in Ubay (P37.03 million); and in San Miguel town (P29.595 million); and

6) flood control and drainage in Sagbayan town (P14.6 million); in Inabanga (P10 million); in Trinidad (P5.75 million); in Ubay (P4.5 million); in Buenavista (3.45 million); in Talibon (2.85 million); in Clarin (P2.415 million); in Danao (P1.38 million); in Dagohoy (P1.35 million); and in Getafe (P1.035 million).
