Girl, 11, becomes mother to premature baby boy

CEBU, Philippines - An 11-year-old girl from Capiz gave birth to a baby boy in a hospital in Iloilo province.

According to reports, the girl was first brought to the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital in Roxas City of Capiz.

Due to her sensitive medical condition, however she was transferred to Iloilo where she delivered a 7-month premature infant.

This case made the girl become the youngest mother in the province, breaking the record of the 12-year-old girl who gave birth in Capiz.
