Call center agent found dead inside pension house

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines - A call center employee was found dead with stab wounds inside his room in a pension house in this city Sunday afternoon, police said.

The victim, identified as Ian Sherwin Sandoval, 34, reportedly worked as a call center agent of Transcom Worldwide Philippines in this city.

Investigator PO2 Ronald Ortiz said a pension house employee found Sandoval naked and already dead under the bed of his room at the Ester Pension House.

The police are reviewing the CCTV camera to identify Sandoval's male companion who reportedly accompanied him when he checked in at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators also found in the crime scene a pair of slippers, several strands of hair and the victim's personal belongings.

Sandoval's wallet and his valuables were still intact when they found his body, said the police, which are still investigating the motive of the killing. - THE FREEMAN
