Negros Occidental holds 1st ICT Summit today

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines -  – The Negros Occidental provincial government is holding today the first Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Summit at the Business Inn in the city.

Dubbed “NEGROS FIRST ICT Summit,” it is expected to design a provincial roadmap of the ICT industry in Negros Occidental, Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. said.

The summit will feature resource speakers from the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) and the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP), who will guide local stakeholders in the preparation of the Negros Occidental ICT Roadmap 2011-2013, the governor said.

The summit also marks the observance of June as National ICT Month. – (FREEMAN)
