‘Let us work as one PRO1!’ -- Tolentino

“Know your people. Know your area. Know your problems. Know your capabilities. And act.” Ito ang mahigpit na tagubilin ni PRO1 Brig. Gen. Crisaleo Tolentino sa mga police commanders sa kanyang sakop. “Our accomplishments should not exist only on paper. They must result in safer communities and better police service that our people can actually feel,” ang pahayag ni Tolentino “Let us work as one PRO1, one team, toward one direction,” ang dagdag pa ni Tolentino. Sinabi ni Tolentino na sa umpisa ng kanilang paglalakbay bilang “Bagong PRO1,” dapat silang giyahan ng isang clear principle: “Everything we do must contribute to the PNP Focus Agenda and ultimately to the Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas.” Hehehe! Kelangan pa bang i-memorize ‘yan?

Ipinahayag ni Tolentino na ang kanilang crime prevention initiatives ay dapat tugunan ang short term opportunities for crime at ang long-term root causes nito. “In the short term, maximize EMPO, police presence, visibility, mobility, intelligence, and other operational strategies to deny criminals the opportunity to act,’ ani PRO1 director.” In the long term, we must look deeper into the root causes and contributing factors behind crimes and incidents. Nais ni Tolentino na ang PRO1 radio communication ay aktibo at hindi dispalingado. “Gusto kong nakakausap ko ang ating mga commanders and units on the ground,” aniya.
