“The primary objective of MAREX 2025 is to elevate the participants’ capabilities to new heights, focusing on a wide range of tactical operations. Additionally, the exercise will also feature a Joint Littoral Live-Fire Exercise and amphibious assault operations, both crucial components in counter-landing and coastal defense—key elements in safeguarding territorial waters and maintaining regional stability,” ayon sa press statement ng 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division ng Philippine Army.

Dumalo sa opening ceremony ng MAREX 2025 si Major General Donald M. Gumiran, commander 6-ID at Joint Task Force Central bilang guest of honor at speaker.

“Interoperability is the key. It is not enough to be skilled individually—we must be able to operate seamlessly with our counterparts, whether from the Philippine Marine Corps or allied forces. MAREX 2025 provides an invaluable opportunity to exchange knowledge, refine coordination, and enhance the Littoral Response Group Concept” ani Maj. Gen. Gumiran.
