P1-B nalikom na buwis ng BoC-Subic

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT , Philippines   - Nahigitan pa ang revenue target collections ng Bureau of Customs Port of Subic kung saan nasa mahigit P1-Bilyon ang kinita sa record breaking cash revenue performance para sa Hunyo 2013.

Ayon kay Subic Customs Collector Atty. Adelina S. E. Molina, tumaas ang target collection ng 101.70%, higit pa sa kanilang assigned revenue target.

Nitong nakalipas na Hunyo, naiposte ng Bureau of Customs ang total collection na P1.054 bilyon mula sa inaasahang P52 milyon revenue.

Dinoble ang revenue collection drive matapos mabigo ang nasabing distrito na makuha ang P1 bilyon noong Mayo kung saan nakalikom lamang ng P956 milyon, paliwanag ni Molino.

Kabilang sa 10  kompanya sa Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority ang nasa top tax payers at nasa listahan ng Bureau of Customs-Subic na nakapagbayad buwis noong Hunyo 2013 ay ang PTT Phils. Inc. (P305.853-M); Micro Dragon Petroleum Inc. (P162.231M); Total Phils. Inc. (P128.221-M); Phoenix Petroleum Phils. (P108.031-M); Cebu Air Inc. (P100.958-M); Jaris Oil International Corp (P44.801-M); Petron Corp. (P31.627-M); TWA Inc. (P31.319-M); Pilipinas Shell (P18.695-M); at ang Murami Subic Trading Corp. (P15.768-M).

Isa sa malaking bahagi ng revenue performance ay ang mga inilatag na operasyon ng pangkat nina Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service Chief Jo Du at Enforcement and Security Service head Maj. Elpidio Sonny Manuel laban sa smuggling ng mga kontrabando.
