Annular solar eclipse, magaganap saÂ Oct. 2

This year's path of totality is 115 miles (185 kilometers) wide and home to nearly 32 million Americans, with an additional 150 million living less than 200 miles from the strip. The next total solar eclipse that can be seen from a large part of North America won't come around until 2044.

MANILA, Philippines — Mararanasan ang ikalawang solar eclipse ng taong 2024 sa darating na Miyerkules, Oktubre 2 na tinawag na “ring of fire” – solar eclipse.

Ang solar eclipse na magaganap ay partial lamang o lalampas ang buwan sa araw pero sa pagkakataong ito ay bahagya lamang ng araw ang matatabunan ng buwan.

Ang eclipse ay hindi makikita sa Pilipinas pero “visible” naman sa Northern Hemisphere sa North America, Greenland, Europe at Northern Canada.
