MANILA, Philippines — Inihayag kahapon ng bagong Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) chief Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III na handa siyang tugisin sina ­dating presidential spokesperson Harry Roque at si dating Bureau of Correction chief Gerald Bantag.

Si Roque ay may arrest order mula sa House of Representatives dahil sa pagbalewala nito sa imbitasyon ng Kamara sa isinasagawang imbestigasyon sa POGO.

Habang nahaharap naman sa kasong murder si Bantag kaugnay ng pamamaslang sa broadcaster na si Percy Lapid.

Ayon kay Torre, naghihintay lamang siya ng ‘go signal’ mula kay Philippine Natio­nal ­Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rommel Francisco ­Marbil upang mapag-aralan ang pag-aresto kina Roque at Bantag.

Binigyan diin ni Torre na tungkulin ng PNP na papanagutin sa batas ang sinumang may sala at tiniyak na kanilang gagawing manhunt ay legal.

Matatandaang si Torre ang nanguna sa operasyon ng paghaha­nap kay Quiboloy kung saan nasukol ang KOJC leader sa loob mismo ng KOJC compound.
