MANILA, Philippines — Bilang pag-iingat sa muling pagkalat ng ­COVID-19 at iba pang respiratory illnesess, muling nagpatupad ng mandatory na pagsusuot ng face mask sa New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) at sa mga pasilidad ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).  

Batay sa Memorandum na inilabas ni Senior Supt. Cecilia Villanueva, Acting Director ng Directorate for Health and Services ng New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Hospital na may petsang Disyembre 6, 2023, kabilang sa dapat sumunod sa mandatory wearing of face masks ay ang mga on-duty personnel; visitors na kinabibilangan ng mga dalaw ng PDLs o ng mga sibilyan; counsel o abogado, mga papasok sa BuCor buildings o kampo; o ang mga may transaksyon sa mga tanggapan ng BuCor.

 “The promotion and protection pf health of our PDL, as well as, BuCor employees is one of the primary objectives of DHWS. Applying preventive measures to avoid transmission of infections within BuCor facilities is imperative to maintain the health and wellbeing of PDL, personnel and the community,” ayon sa kautusan.

Dapat din na nakasuot ng face mask ang PDL para sa medical consultations, laboratory tests, at iba pang health services.
