Duterte, Yang labas sa Pharmally mess - solon

MANILA, Philippines — Walang matibay na ebidensya na nag-uugnay kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at dating Presidential adviser Michael Yang sa kuwestiyunableng transaksyon ng Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp.

Ito ang muling iginiit ni House Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman at Diwa Partylist Rep. Michael Aglipay dahil walang ebidensya ay hindi maa­ring panagutin si Yang na nagsilbi lamang financier ng Pharmally sa sinasabing overpriced purchased ng pandemic supplies ng kumpanya.

Ang pahayag ay ginawa ni Aglipay sa harap na rin ng ipinalabas na report ng Senate blue ribbon committee kung saan tinukoy nito na nagkaroon ng betrayal of public trust sa panig ni Pangulong Duterte dahil sa naging aksyon nito sa multi-billion-peso contracts sa Pharmally.

Sa nasabing report ay inirekomenda ng Senate committee ang pagsasampa ng kasong plunder, graft at iba pang criminal at admi­nistrative charges laban kina Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, dating presidential economic adviser Michael Yang, dating Department of Budget and Management Procurement Service (PS-DBM) officer-in-charge Atty. Christopher Lloyd Lao, Overall Deputy Ombudsman Warren Rex Liong, Pharmally executives Linconn Ong, Mohit Dargani, Twinkle Dargani, Krizle Grace Mago, Huang Tzu Yen at negosyanteng si Lin Weixiong habang sa kaso ni Pangulong Duterte ay pagbaba nito sa pwesto sa Hunyo 2022 ito maaa­ring sampahan ng reklamo kaugnay sa anomalya.

Matatandaan na sa na­ging hiwalay na imbestigasyon ng Kamara ay hindi ito nagsampa ng kaso laban kay Pangulong Duterte at kay Yang at ang kanilang rekomendasyon ay base sa nakalap na testimonial at documentary evidence.
