PUIs, PUMs dalhin sa mga dormitory at gymnasium
MANILA, Philippines — Dalhin sa mga dormitory at gymnasium ang mga Persons Under Investigation (PUIs) at Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) para maisailalim sa testing upang mapabilis ang pagtugon sa krisis sa COVID 19.
Ito ang inirekomenda ni Deputy Majority Leader at Bagong Henerasyon Party-list Rep. Bernadette “BH” Herrera sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).
“For cities and towns with just one or two confirmed cases, I am strongly recommending to the IATF that at all the PUIs and PUMs there be isolated in a secure facility like a dormitory or large gymnasium”, anang mambabatas.
“Once isolated, the PUIs and PUMs can then tested immediately with the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved rapid test kits, subject to continued isolation until the results of the second, confirmatory test,” ayon pa kay Herrera.
Ang Metro Manila ang siyang itinuturing na epicenter ng COVID 19 sa bansa o siyang may pinakamaraming naitalang kaso ng mga taong tinamaan ng pandemic na virus at kung magagawa ito at mapagtatagumpayan ay mababawasan ang Luzon wide lockdown at hindi na ito mapapalawig pa.
Ayon kay Herrera, sa pamamagitan ng mga rapid test sa COVID 19 ay mamomonitor ang mga bayan at lungsod na dapat tutukan kung tumataas na ang kaso ng virus sa mga residente dito.
