‘Doble plaka’ sa motorsiklo sususpendihin ni Duterte
MANILA, Philippines — Nakahandang suspendihin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagpapatupad ng doble plaka at color coded plate sa mga motorsiklo.
Ito ang ipinangako ni Pangulong Duterte sa pagdalo sa 25th National Federation of the Motorcycle Clubs of the Philippines Annual National Convention sa Iloilo City kamakalawa ng gabi.
Sinabi pa ng Pangulo na kakausapin niya si Sen.Richard Gordon na author ng bagong batas na Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act.
“I will try to convince the Land Transportation Office to hang on it. I will suspend it,” wika pa ng Pangulo.
“Anything that is sharp, has sharp edges, is not good,” giit pa ni Duterte.
Aniya, masyadong malaki rin ng P50,000 multa sa violators bagkus ang mungkahi nito ay P10,000- P15,000.
“As a compromise, you have to enlarge the plate number [at the back of the motorcycle] by one fourth so that the number can be seen,” dagdag pa ng Pangulo.
