Gov’t employees sagana sa bonus

MANILA, Philippines - Masagana ang Pasko at Bagong Taon ng mga nagtatrabaho sa gobyerno, dahil bukod sa matatanggap na 13th month pay, year-end bonus and productivity Ehancement Incentive ay makakatanggap pa rin ang mga ito ng performance-based bonus (PBB).

“The PBB is actual­ly distinct from an em­ployee’s year-end cash bonus, 13th month pay, and PEI. The purpose of the PBB is to ensure that our public servants receive due recognition for their efforts. An outstanding employee, for example, will receive a significantly higher PBB—on top of the other bonuses given to him—than a worker who merely fulfills the bare minimum of his duties,” paliwanag pa ni Budget Sec. Aniya, ang lahat ng government employees ay karapatang makatanggap ng kanilang 13th month pay na kahalaga ng kani­lang isang buwang suweldo, gayundin din ang year-end cash gift na P5,000 at PEI na P5,000 din. Siniguro rin ng DBM chief na lahat ng go­­vern­ment workers ay makakatanggap ng kani-kanilang performance-based bonus.
