Saso mangunguna sa Siklab Youth Awards

MANILA, Philippines — Bibigyan ng karangalan ang mga pinakamahu­husay na batang atleta sa pagdaraos ng 2nd Siklab Sports Youth Awards ngayong gabi sa Market! Mar­ket! Activity Area sa BGC, Taguig City.

Pamumunuan nina reigning girls PGA champion Yuka Saso, triathlete Andrew Kim Remolino, cager Dave Ildefonso at 19 pang atleta mula sa iba’t ibang sports ang mga hihiranging POC Siklab Young Heroes.

Pangunguhan din nina fencers Maxine Esteban at Samantha Catantan ang event na inorganisa ng Philippine Sports Commission-Philippine Olympic Committee Media Group kasama sina junior cycling champion Marc Ryan Lago at dragonboat/canoe-kayak world champion paddlers Christine Mae Talledo at Lealyn Baligasa.

Pararangalan sa awards night na suportado ng Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, Smart/PLDT, MVP Sports Foun­da­tion at Go For Gold sina International Masters Kylen Mordido at Marvin Miciano, speed skater Julian Kyle Silverio, pole vaulter Hokett Delos Santos at wrestler Cadel Evance Hualda.

Kasama ang Market!Market! at Ayala Malls bilang venue partners, itatampok din sa second edition ng Siklab Sports Youth Awards ang mga Super Kids awardees sa pamumuno nina gymnast Karl El­drew Yulo at IM Daniel Quizon.

Sina bowlers Norel Nuevo at Grace Gella, nagbulsa ng bronze medals sa nakaraang junior world championships ay gagawaran din ng pagkilala pati na sina skateboarder David Sebastian Chanco at taekwondo jin Ian Matthew Corton.

Ang Sports Idols trophy ay igagawad kina track and field icon Elma Muros-Posadas at jujitsu world champion Meggie Ochoa sa event na supor­ta­do rin ng Pagcor at Cignal TV, habang sina PSC chairman William Ramirez at Go For Gold head Jeremy Go ang hinirang na Godfathers of the Year.

Ang PSC Children’s Games for Peace Award ay eksklusibo para sa mga top performers ng 2019 Pa­larong Pambansa at Batang Pinoy Games sa pa­ngunguna nina archer Naina Dominique Tagle at swimmers Xiandi Chua, Michaela Jasmine Mojdeh at Marc Bryant Dula.

Ang iba pang gagawaran ng Young Heroes award ay sina shooters Denise Basila at Michael An­­gelo Fernandez, skater Diane Panlilio, Jannah Ro­­mero (table tennis), Janzeth Gajo (wushu), Jo­shua Glenn Bullo (sepak takraw), Lanz Zafra (badminton), Samantha Catantan (fencing) at Solomon Padiz, Jr. (badminton).

Sina Sandrex Gaisan (wushu), Lovely Mae Orbeta (darts), Patrick Coo (cycling), Mariel Abuan (athletics), Remond Lofranco (boxing), weightlif­ter Vanessa Sarno, swimmer Ivo Nikolai Enot at Dylan Valmores (jujitsu) ay tatanggap din ng Super Kids trophy.
