PSL tankers sasabak sa Tokyo

TOKYO-- Tiwala ang pamunuan ng Philippine Swimming League (PSL) na hindi makakaapekto sa kampanya ng Pinoy swimmers ang nakapalamig na klima sa kani-kanilang kampanya sa 2016 Tokyo National Swimming Championship na lalarga ngayong Pebrero 7-10 sa St. Mary’s International School dito.

“Mas malamig ang klima ngayon kumpara noong November nang lumaban kami kaya kailangan ng mga bata na makapag-acclimatize para makapag-adjust ang katawan nila sa cold weather,” wika ni PSL President Susan Papa patungkol sa klima rito na nasa  9 degrees hanggang 1 degree celcius.

Sasandalan ng PSL sa paghakot ng ginto kina Swimmer of the Year top candidates Sean Terence Zamora  ng Santo Tomas  University at Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Immaculate Heart of Mary-College-Parañaque.

Bukod sa dalawang swimmers na nabanggit, inaasahang gagawa rin ng produktibong paglangoy sina UAAP Season 78 gold medalist  Drew Benett Magbag ng University of the Philippines Integrated School, Gwangju Universiade veteran Jux Keaton Solita ng UST at Singapore Swimming Championship Most Outstanding Swimmer awardee Marc Bryan Dula ng Weissenheimer Academy.

Matatandaan na nag-uwi ang PSL ng 19 gold, 10 silver at 10 bronze medals sa unang lahok sa torneong ito noong Nobyembre.
