Spurs ‘di umubra sa Thunder

SAN ANTONIO – Sinabi ni Russell Westbrook na walang kuwestiyon na ang Oklahoma City ang best team ng liga.

Pinatunayan niya ito nang kanyang pangunahan ang Thunder sa dominanteng panalo sa lugar na iilang teams pa lamang ang nagtagumpay.

Tumapos si Westbrook ng 31 points at walong assists at humataw ang Oklahoma City sa second quarter upang igupo ang San Antonio Spurs, 113-100 para sa kanilang ikasiyam na sunod na panalo.

“We got the best record in the league; I believe we’re the best team in the league regardless of who says this and who says that,” ani Westbrook. “You have to go out and play. You can predict anything, but you have to play the game.”

Sinapawan ng Thunder ang Spurs, 40-29  sa second quarter upang ipalasap sa San Antonio ang kanilang ikalawang talo pa lamang ngayong season.

“It was one of our best scoring quarters,” sabi ni Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks. “Not sure we have even had a 40-point quarter this season, but we moved the ball well and made shots. Both teams are hard to guard and both teams can score points. We got hot there in the second.”

Tumapos si Tony Parker ng 23 points at eight assists sa kanyang pagbabalik mula sa two-game absence dahil sa nagkapasang binti ngunit biglang hindi naka-laro si Kawhi Leonard dahil sa isang dental procedure.
